The Makita 6-1/2 Inch brushless cordless plunge circular saw kit is perfect for cutting large wood panels, melamine, MDF, aluminum and Corian. Operational speed can be adjusted from 2500 to 6300 RPM to suit a wide range of applications. Larger scale makes it easy to set the depth effectively. Base consists of a sliding lever that ensures stable bevel cutting. Saw is powered by a brushless motor that delivers an operating speed of up to 6300 RPM and the two Lithium batteries provides optimum power. Automatic speed changing mechanism adjusts the cutting speed and torque depending upon a wide variety of applications. Saw can be installed closer to the wall for expanded cutting applications. Saw provides a larger cutting capacity of 2-3/16 Inch at 90 degrees and 1-9/16 Inch at 45 degrees. It also provides a beveling capacity of -1 to 48 degrees with positive stops at 22.5 degrees and 45 degrees. Electronic speed control maintains uniform speed even under load for smooth cutting results. Dual front and back bevel gives good stability for getting accurate results. On-board hex wrench allows the user to changes the blades easily. Locking lever keeps the blade in that facilitates the user to insert the wrench through the hole in the blade case. The 1-7/16 Inch rear dust port keeps the dust and debris away from the user. Guide rail system works well with the saw base for efficient bevel cutting. Electric brake enhances the productivity of the tool. The two Lithium-Ion batteries reaches optimum charge in 45 minutes. Kit contains a plunge circular saw, two 18 Volt 4 Amp-Hours batteries, dual port charger, saw blade, hex wrench and two interlocking cases.
