The J-7040, 10-Inch x 16-Inch Horizontal Bandsaw from JET® is versatile enough to cut virtually any material in your workshop. This 2 hp bandsaw’s three-phase, 230V motor provides industrial-level power to cut at a maximum speed of 350 surface feet per minute for fast task completion. A variable-speed system allows you to easily adjust the blade’s rate of movement to give you the control you need for more delicate operations. The Jet horizontal bandsaw’s six-point blade guide reduces skipping for safer work and more consistent results. A pivot shaft supports the back of the blade to distribute the load equally among the bearings. This heavy-duty bandsaw’s transmission sports hardened and ground gears for added durability and an extended operational life.
